Rozenbottels
De bottel is een schijnvrucht, de vruchtbeginsels zijn niet vergroeid maar zitten in de bottelt. Het zaad zit in de bottel maar kan soms ook er boven op liggen. Ze staan meestal in groepjes bijeen. Volgens de variëteit van de roos kan de vorm bottel flesvormig of rond tot langwerpig zijn. Ook kan de kleur van de rozenbottel volgens de variëteit van de roos, oranje, rood, zwart of purper zijn. De rozenbottel bevat veel vitaminen c. Men kan van de rozenbottel Jam (cofituur), wijn enzo mee bereiden. De rozenbottel zijn voor de vogels een goede vrucht om de winter mee door te komen.
